Acts of bravey, courage and sometimes sheer luck will always be rewarded to members of the Regiment.
Victoria Cross
The Victoria Cross is awarded "in recognition of most conspicuous bravery, or some daring or pre-eminent act of valour or self-sacrifice, or extreme devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy."

The Conspicuous Gallantry Cross is awarded "in recognition of an act or acts of conspicuous gallantry during active operations against the enemy".
